Daniel Corsten, Professor of Operations and Technology, IE Business School, Madrid

I have been active in the ECR Academic Community for twenty years on the national and international level, helping their members with my research concerning supply chain, inventory, shrinkage, but also shoppers, categories, and products. In addition, I have designed and delivered executive education programs for the ECR Community and consulted individual member companies.

Since ECR’s early years, the ECR Retail Loss group has been paramount to bringing together retailers and brands to discuss retail operations with rigor, relevance and collegiality.

I am honoured that my past and present research on stock-outs with my colleague Prof. Tom Gruen has helped this fantastic group improve their product availability on-shelf and on-line and welcome them back anytime to IE Business School!
