How to remove friction from the Scan & Go proposition?

The promise of Scan & Go is exactly that, however to help customers improve their scan accuracy, retailers will carry out full and partial basket spot checks, effectively changing the proposition to Scan, Get Stopped and then Go.. Spot checks are not well received by shoppers, and can be challenging, awkward and difficult for store associates to deliver. To discuss spot checks, the working group have a meeting planned where retailers, including Metro, will share how they are finding new ways, through algorithms and technology, to better target the spot checks and remove friction for the most accurate Scan & Go shoppers. The meeting is set for September 12th, all retailers, CPG’s and academics are invited. Click here to register.
