One retailer has calculated that for every one percentage improvement in Inventory Record Accuracy, measured as an exact match, they can grow their bottom line by €10 million, as a function of more sales, higher first time pick rates, lower waste, etc.
In this annual summit, we bring those working in roles in retail overseeing the annual counts, designing better store routines, smart replenishment, lower inventory and unknown loss, together with the leading academics in operations & forecasting. Over the two day agenda, the working group visits stores, swap notes on their past wins, their ambitions for the next 12 months, complete table exercises, hear pitches from the hottest innovators and review retailer case studies. In between and after, there is plenty of time for informal “innovation collision” catch ups!
